The sightseeing elevator has a car that runs between at least two columns of vertical rigid rails.
The structure is convenient for passengers to enter or unload cargo. It is customary to use the elevator as a general term for vertical transportation vehicles in buildings, regardless of the driving method. According to the rated speed, it can be divided into low-speed elevator (1m/s or less), fast elevator (1~2m/s) and high-speed elevator (2m/s or more). Modern elevators are mainly composed of traction machines (winch), guide rails, counterweights, safety devices (such as speed limiters, safety gears and bumpers, etc.), signal control systems, cars and hall doors. These parts are installed in the hoistway and machine room of the building.
The wire rope is frictionally driven, the wire rope bypasses the traction sheave, the two ends are respectively connected with the car and the balance weight, and the electric motor drives the traction sheave to lift the car. The elevator requires safety and reliability, high transmission efficiency, accurate leveling and comfortable ride. The traction system includes a traction motor, a traction sheave, a speed reducer, a brake, a traction machine base, a crank wheel, and the like. The traction sheave is mounted on the load beam. The elevator traction machine is the driving mechanism of the elevator running. With the support beam passing through the traction sheave, all the loads (dynamic load and static load) of all the reciprocating lifting and moving members are assumed, and the load-bearing beams are mostly made of I-beam structure.
The suspension compensation system consists of all the structural members of the traction rope, the car and the counterweight, the compensation rope, the tensioning wheel and the like. The car and counterweight are the main components of the elevator running vertically, and the car is a box container for passengers and cargo.
The guiding system includes guide rails and guide shoes to guide the car and the counterweight for vertical lifting movement.
The electrical system is the control system for the elevator, including various contactors, relays, controls, and displays.
