At the same time, the “Guidelines for the Construction of Existing Multi-Storey Residential Elevators” was compiled to facilitate residents' application and operation.


    Since the pilot was launched, 204 houses in the city have completed the project of installing elevators through the consultation of residents. 47 projects have been completed and 29 are under construction.


    The next step is to focus on five aspects of work.

    The fourth is to adhere to multiple measures and accelerate the promotion of the installation. On the basis of the residents' consensus reached, the completion of fund raising and the signing of relevant agreements, the old housing comprehensive transformation and implementation unit will be entrusted to implement the installation of elevators for existing multi-storey houses. At the same time, the role of technical services of industry associations and social organizations will be brought into play, and the construction of elevator installation and construction units will be fostered.


    The fifth is to implement maintenance and maintenance management to ensure long-term operation. Supervise the property service enterprises to cooperate with the owners and relevant departments in the early stage of installing elevators to provide information and plan for the installation of elevators.
