The Most Comprehensive Passenger Elevator Classification
May 26, 2018

Whenever we go to different shopping malls, we can see different passenger elevators. In fact, these passenger elevators are classified. They can often be distinguished according to various classification methods.

As a passenger elevator manufacturer, we have now sorted out the most comprehensive passenger elevator classification in history.

According to the classification of driving methods, passenger elevators can be divided into AC elevators, DC elevators, hydraulic elevators, rack and pinion elevators, and screw elevators.

First, the exchange of elevators: AC induction motor as the driving force of the elevator. According to the drag mode, it can be divided into AC single speed, AC double speed, AC voltage regulation, AC variable voltage frequency control and so on.

Second, the DC elevator: using a DC motor as the driving force of the elevator. The rated speed of this kind of elevator is generally above 2.00m/s.

Third, the hydraulic elevator: generally use the electric pump to drive the flow of liquid, lift the elevator car by the plunger.

4. Rack and pinion elevators: The guide rails are machined into racks, and the car is equipped with gears meshed with the racks. The motor drives the gears to rotate to lift the car.

5. Screw elevator: The plunger of the straight lift elevator is processed into a rectangular thread, and then a large nut with a thrust bearing is mounted on the top of the cylinder, and then the motor is driven to rotate the nut through a speed reducer (or belt), so that the screw An elevator that raises or lowers the lifting car.

According to the elevator without strict speed classification, our country is accustomed to classification according to the following methods.

First, low-speed ladder: often refers to the speed of less than 1.00m / s elevator.

Second, the speed ladder: often refers to the speed of 1.00 ~ 2.00m / s elevator.

Third, high-speed ladder: often refers to the speed greater than 7m / s elevator.
